  1. Dear new/prospective owners

    Absolutely spot on.
  2. FS: 6/1 Update - Price Cuts - Stock and Aftermarket Parts - Have a look!!

It's been awhile bump. PM sent on ignitor.
  3. ATTENTION: Evo Owners....

Quoting broxma:Which car do I want to drive. The Galant. Why? This is where I cannot be objective because I will be unable to make you understand or experience the same thing. When I get in my GVR4, I am happy. It has no AC. I'm elated. The seat is still ripped, Wonderful. It reeks like gas...
  4. Newbie, few questions, where to start?

Mitsubishi sources the lower ball joint as complete in the lower control arm. Expensive. Moog sells the balljoint separately. MUCH cheaper. The struts can cause a shimmy if you hit a bump and they are SHOT.
  5. 4WS pros . cons

In reference to Fuel. No USDM Galant VR-4s ever came with any LSD.Sold them when they were new.
  6. Is Belize Green only found on GVR4s?

Belize green was found on any 91-92 Galant with a DOHC engine so GS,GSR,GSX and VR-4. I sold a bunch of GS's in Belize green. 1Ga Eclipses came in B.Green too. It was also found on Japanese built 4 door Mirages.
  7. Damn Clutch issue

The clutch operates a bellcrank. It is keyed onto the pedal shaft and retained by a nut. The pedal shaft hammers the inside of the "fluid lever" and makes it so you push in the pedal and get no master cylinder actuation.JNZ's got a pedal box rebuild kit with a new pedal, lever and bushings...
  8. Ball joint boots...

It helps to grease the lip of the boot and make sure the knuckle isn't nicked.
  9. Connecticut people

After a prolonged period of jackstand balling, 581 is now on the ROAD. Firmly ensconced in the 203 area code.
  10. injector #1 miss fireing

Nobody suggested changing the connector? OK I will. That might be your problem. I haven't killed any on the Galant, but I have on the 1G.
  11. Dash lights stopped working?

Check if the dimmer rheostat came unplugged in the dash too.
  12. Water leak on passenger side

If the box was full of water. But you'd know. The sloshing would be terrible. Also, check around the windshield. (where my Eclipse leaks) and where the wiring harness for the passenger front door enters the car.
  13. Water leak on passenger side

Are you SURE the a/c drain isn't plugged.
