So, I like the idea of keeping some aspects of the car as original as possible, hence wanting to keep ABS.
On the other side of the coin, I can't think of any other reason to keep it. Even fully operational (it is working fine on my car), the system doesn't even really work well IMO. Furthermore, I am in the process of cleaning up my engine bay, and HATE all the lines going to the ABS unit. Not to mention, dropping the ABS unit itself yields significant weight savings. I want to eventually swap to a 5 lug setup in the future as well, and don't think jumping through all the hoops to keep an antiquated ABS system operational is really even worth the hassle.
What do you guys think? Swap it out, or keep it? Thanks.
