The inside of A/C compressors (at least some of them) are built this way. Fairly cool design I think. I have the rusty guts of one that I could send somebody pics of if they wanted to post 'em up.

Evo 9 4g69 swap
Wasn't finished, but is interesting since the G69 is a short deck 2.4l vs the tall deck G64, of course you can't use it on a dsm/gvr4.
