For 7" wide wheels 205's will give you a flat sidewall as mentioned earlier, therefore keeping the tire nice and square. If you have to go bigger i wouldn't go bigger than a 215, but that's with hard cornering in mind. But if it's more of a straight liner then sure, 225's.
I can vouch for the direzza SS, sticky dry and still sticky in the wet. Decent treadlife if you aren't beating the crap out of them all the time. I've had mine for around ~10k and still have 50-60%. 90% of the total miles they just see DD duty, but that other 10% they are at or close to the limit.
