What size is the end of the inner tie rod? I need to make sure i get the right size tool to get it off

I'm in the process of de-powering a rack and the how-to article states that it's a 1 1/4'' wrench to remove the inner once the washer has been unstaked.

I used a pipe wrench or a really large slip-joint pliers. they were not that tight.
