my GS is running on a 3G ecu right now, same pinouts as the evo ecu as well

So the only reason to run an actual EVO ecu opposed to a Lancer/3G Eclipse ecu is that it is more plug and play? If so I can get a near free ECU from a local pick and pull, and use the $250 for tuning.

I'm starting to get more interest in this ECU change. seeing the price of the Evo8-9 ECU's is cheap.
This plus the HW (knock sense, MAS, etc) seems less expensive than socketing/dsmlink'ing + HW.
Only worries I'd have is how to control a cyclone IM. DSMlink can with the nitro controller. I'll have to check it out some more:)
