Hey guys, 1848 has been hard to start since i got the trans swapped. Cranks easy, just doesnt seem to wanna take fire. I can hear the pump so i dont think its gas, im just wonderin if i should start with plugs(pulled, cleaned, gap checked), wires(which appear to be fine), or coil pack- i also feel like its not air, the filter is pretty free flowing, not alm dirty n junk.
If all you did was swap the transmission, I'll submit that you should check all the wiring on the pass side of the engine. Coolant temp sensors, TPS, everything there is suspect. If the top wires on the coolant sensor are getting weak and have broken strands or the connection is dirty, then you could be fooling the ECU into gradually seeing a colder and colder coolant/engine situation. Very brittle and common wire issue.
