I had a built head for my 2g, which I am selling the shell, and I want to put it you the vr4 instead. I know that I must bore out the head stud holes to get it to fit, but my question is about the water pipe. I am also putting a hx35 on the vr4 so I would like a nt water pipe, because it doesn't have the extra nipple, so can I use a 1g nt 7-bolt water pipe or do it need a 2g nt ones? Also will the radiator hoses line up? I would like to keep the stock radiator but unsure if it will fit with the hx35 yet.

Everything should bolt up fine and you have the right idea about the head. On the turbo side of things you might run into the radiator if I remember correctly. I had a evo3 rad and I wasn't able to run my H1C with it.
Just some food for thought

You can use any 1g water pipe and thermostat housing on a 2g head.
