My car hasn't been smoked in since the PO, who probably only smoked J's in it when the folks weren't around.
I have had the car five years, never noticed a heater core leak - car has no carpet because of a previous windshield leak and has been sitting now for a while.
I used to get the white haze all the time. I do not smoke or let stinky people in my car
