I forgot to put the oil retaining ring on the rear main seal? i belive they call it oil slinger??

JK, I've wondered what would happen if this was left out. I would assume it would cause the seal to not seal like it should.

Porbably not an issue, many cars don't have that and they don't leak just fine. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
