What connection is this?

So I'm changing my master cylinder and I find this connection. Not only is it not connected,the wire is broken. Is this the knock sensor? It's sitting on the back of the intake manifold.

It looks to be the knock sensor. From whatever of the wiring is left, there should be a black sheathing covering the wire. If there is, then you can bet that is the knock sensor.
