using search

I havnt been here in a very long time, but it seems like I remember reading something about using the search feature here. Is there a way for the results to show just the thread instead of the thread and every response seperate. I'm sure this is a newb question, but I'm putting a vr4 together and i have many questions that I'm sure have all been answered here. I'm just having a hard time finding them.

If you want to exclude "replies" from your search, include the search term:
