upgrade fuel system?

Stupid question, but are you pulling the 14mm flare towards the passenger side??
 

here is a trick I always use to break fittings like that loose. Position the 14mm flare farther away than the 19mm and squeeze the wrenches together as tight as possible, should break them loose no problem.

I hit mine with PB blaster twice a day for 3 days. It was STILL a pain in the ass to get off.

that was the main reason why i did stainless steel fuel line in the first place. The filter wouldn't come off, and i ended up accidentally bending the line. So i just cut it and ran new line lol.
