Yes that one again as raised its ugly head. Yes I did a search and its all over the net and know one has ever gave a definitive answer to what it is. Picked it up yesterday as a parts core. Was bought from a JDM supplier and didn't work either was the wrong final drive or it had problems already because it locked up the first day or something. I put it in 4th and rotated and looks like its a 3.9 gear. When ever I get a chance I'll tear it apart and count some teeth but as it stands now its still a mystery box.

Its a non switchable but the bearing plate (2nd section from passenger side) has a weirdo casting that sticks out the front and this is the only one I've ever seen this way.

If anyone has any answers post it up.

From my search on google it looks like its from a 91 MITSUBISHI CHARIOT.

This guy is selling one here and he pulled it out of a 91 chariot and its an automatic.

And if you read the 23rd post here you will see the same thing.
