Tranny Gear Oil Cooling Setup

I was seeing temps in excess of 250 degrees in my gear box so I fab'd up a cooler setup. Here are some pics and a parts list.

Give us a total cost for the parts, and also can you tell us what kind of temps you are seeing now?

Think it came up to like 700 bux, but I try not to pay any attention /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif ... I haven't had it back on the track since the cooler was installed. I'll let you know after the double race Labor Day Weekend. CJ

Where are you connecting it to the tranny? I can't quite see in the pix, and maybe I missed it in your post.

 

I used the Drain and Fill holes with fitings I got from Pegasus Racing:

Pegasus 3265-34
Pegasus 3265-35

Best thing is that there is no modification to the tranny itself so that you can easily remove and or swap it if required.
