got the car some new nuts for the gto rims,just had to post it.
part number ray65008(made of steel)


now thinking of what color to paint the gto rims and going custom for the center caps.
also hoping to get the trunk tray today.

well no real progress,again.
didnt get the trunk tray.i did however score a set of ralliart titanium pedal pads


had these made too

got my old rims and the gti painted

went with a smoother set of door claddings


and finally,i found the missing piece of my transfer case.
luckily my friend has a spare,got it this afternoon

a few more days of storage cleaning and im starting with the engine build.
got the o/h gaskets and sourced a good used crank already

on a lighter note
my friend ran 15.5 last sat stock bottom,stock evo 3 head,16g and 450cc,fwd and 8psi
not really sure on the details but he placed 3rd on bracket d
heres his galant



he does the web designs for most of the speedshops down here

carbon finish plateholder/"bigote" anyone?

did some cleaning in the other unit too.
now a bit organized.a few more days will hopefully fix it up good

vr4 is finally going to the paint shop!again.
neighbor is finally up to their word on the repairs for this car.
hopefully no more problems along the way.


realized i didnt cut the new sunroof drain hose yet.
and my rear diff is still yellow /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gifstill waiting for the 3.9 rear anyway.

my vr4 lonely at the paintshop.

our wall being finished,and im not liking the color.


heres a shot with the blue amg,new engine,body harness and a/t tranny just fitted

err,colored wall

sold a roof section,loaded and ready for delivery.(this is my other daily for now,a fwd n/a gti)

jdm rv inno rack ftw!


now looking for a large enough tent so i can work on the vr4 out of the sun.
a few hours of cleaning up and ill have a nicer garage to work in.

vr4 came home last night.
hopefully wont leave again without an engine.
very happy with how it turned out as the shop re did every panel.







going to work on some more cleaning and add trim pieces,then its off to the engine.

im officially ditching the 3000gt/gto front brakes.
heres why.


already test fitted my rims on an evo 6 so im sure i wont have any more issues.



these are courtesy of my friend alex,its a front and rear set of an evo 4 that converted to evo 5 brakes.
will be picking up the rears tom.

Got the rear brembos but ran into a problem with fitment.
Brembo rear rotors wont sit flush with the 3000gt rear hub,tried a spacer behind the rotor,
And everything bolted up fine.now my rear tires are sticking out of the car.Not much but im not really liking it.
Or maybe im just really tired or the rain is getting to me.

just managed to get some parts for the vr4
rear brembo from the other day

worn out pads from the brembo set



got the fronts on(no pics for the rear yet,it wont stop raining)


new old stock project mu pads from a friend

oem 2pc rear sun shade


non smoking ashtray/coin holder

spare guage assy

rain wont stop and as usual progress is slow.
here are the rear brembos mounted.

top view with wheel mounted.full negative camber.

temporary spacers to make the rotors fit.

heres how the rotors sit

and the caliper

i figure this spacer thing is better than grinding away on the calipers or trailing arms

and if anyone is wondering what the part number is on the rs bumper vents,here it is.

got new stuff for the vr4

dual foglamp switch

installed(need to figure out wiring)

heated seat switches and bezel

bezel installed(had to cut the center console for this)

done!

18 inch 370z spare tire(clears evo brembo and accepts my ralliart lugnuts)

need to find a smaller tire to fit properly,good thing i got it for free.

also got a new toy for the dd gti
fiberglass copy rs bumper vents

What are you going do change the brake bias? Can you get a EVO 5 brake master cylinder?

still on the stock prop valve.im not too sure the evo5 prop would work,has abs.
already have the master cylinder and brake booster.

Dual foggie switch is awesome. I need one of those. Those heated seat switches are sweet as well.

Where did you get the fiberglass bumper vent?

it took a while for me to find them,ill see what i can do to get some more.
A friend of mine made those vents,unfortunately we cant do anything about the small slits so we deleted them.
