Spring Rates for GVR-4

I am thinking of going the route Nick at DSG did with the Evo MR suspension and Ground Control Coilover sleeves. I was wondering what would be a good spring rate for a car that's going to be around 3000 lbs dry. The car is going to be used mainly for a street car but it will see its days at a road race course. This means I want something a little stiff but feels good driving around town.

Going by memory, I think gvr4 and gsx are 150lb/in2 Front and Back, too soft. Evo is 180lb/in2 Front and 220lb/in2 or 240lb/in2 Fack. Forgot what H&R is.....

I used either 350F/275R or 350F/250R on my coilover setup per Ground Control advice.

I'm using 2.5" gorund control springs 350 lbs. front and 250 lbs. rear. Which is streetable. Before, I ran 450 front and 350 rear kinda stiff for my daily driver.

I remembered you had those high rates before. I always wondered how you liked that for the street.

Hmmm thanks for the replies. I was checking spring rates last night and I was considering a 350F/300R setup but I may go softer in the rear bc of the weight difference. I am relocating the battery to the trunk and at times will have an extra 100 Lbs. back there. Would it be wiser to get 275 or 250 in the rear? I appreciate the help fellas

I know its a little bit apples to oranges but I'm running stock Evo 8 springs in the rear and the car rides very nicely. Not too hard or soft, just tight and the under steer is basically non-existent now. I'd say that the 250 or 275 rear springs would be fine.

I figured I'll throw in the fact I'll be running a 22mm front swaybar and 26mm rear adj. bar.

BTW, I have the whiteline 22mm front and 26mm rear adjustable bar. The 450/350 was kinda stiff, now have a wife and 9 month old kid to drive around. So I softened it up a bit.

I have AGX's all the way around and 1G DSM springs in the front with about 3/4 of a turn cut off. I like it enough that I'm taking the suspension just the way it is out of the GVR4 and putting it into the GGSX I'm swapping my drivetrain into. Oh, and I have urethane bushings almost everywhere and a 1" (24mm) rear bar. It handles well enough that my buddy who owns a Z06 and builds performance Vettes and F-bodies for a living said he was very impressed by the ride and handling. I think I just unknowingly stumbled onto a good combo.
