That's actually after my brother cleaned it up a bit and moved everything either down or off of the firewall. The wiring is still very messy. Everything should be cleaned up soon.

Waiting for the Wilson 75mm throttle body to come in to do the custom FMIC

awesome shots, and awesome car.

Those wheels have changed my mind about doing the 5lug swap. great choice wheels.

Wondering what kind of radiator you have. Also the installiation of it? I am looking for a half size radiator myself and am interested knowing about your setup.
Thanks in Advance

The radiator is from a 92-00 SOHC honda civic. Mine was an aftermarket one bought on ebay if I remember correctly. When Deanan installed it, looks like he used the stock brackets and trimmed the stock hoses. The car usually runs around 210 when driving in the city. That was when i was having problems burning out electric fans and with no tune on the car. I just ordered another 3000 CFM, finger chopper from perma-cool and going to see if that helps at all. There are a few different write ups on DSM Talk, DSM tuners, etc. We did the same install on my brothers 95 GST and it runs fine with no overheating issues.

McLovin' the BBS', Classic look and stance. The classic mesh look is uncommon w/ USDM vr4's, but you nailed it(or your brother did /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif ) either way, this thing has class and style. Very engine bay.

Some new additions:
Garret 4.5" core and custom FMIC kit. Built by Mike Vig at RealStreetPerformance here in Orlando. He is also a fabricator at Titan Motorsports.

Holy intercooler core Batman! Looks really good man. That fab work looks top notch, its good to see solid work going into these. None of that 'we do it nice cuz we do it twice' junk. Good choice of beer too /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

How much of the bumper support is still there? I've been thinking through an intercooler setup and the way I want to do it will require a fatty core like yours, but I really don't want my bumper to sag at all.

Just plain sick looking car when are you heading to the track to see how fast it goes.

Thanks for the compliments guys! Mike Vig does phenomenal work. He has worked on some of the worlds fastest cars, including Darrin Dichiara's 8second 6spd Supra. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLHbXGM1lIQ)

Most of the bumper support is gone at this point. There are only two posts that connect the fascia to the car. The need to fabricate a better bumper support is evident. Though, the sides are sagging on this car because they have broken bolt holes where the fascia attaches to the fenders.

vr4beast,
The car actually belongs to my brother. I drive it on occasion and do most of the work while he is in Iraq. I could take it to the track and get a baseline, but I believe all of the cars achievements should be had while my brother is behind the wheel. So to answer your question - As soon as my little brother is back in the country. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I hope to have the fuel system done, and the car fine tuned by that time.

Have been away from the forums for a while but still around and getting back into it again. I still have the VR-4, between being deployed and serving two back-to-back 3 year overseas assignments I haven't quite spent as much time on the Galant that it needs. The AEM EMS recently took a crap and is in the process of being replaced with an Infinity 6. Car will also be getting a wire tuck, planning to go with wire-worx to sort out the rat's nest under the hood and tuned by RealStreetPerfomance. The FP3575 has been rebuilt, new Scirocco Radiator, and intercooler pipes powder coated wrinkle black.

Installing Bulfab's GVR-4 3-PIECE CROSSMEMBER - Steve (DamnDSM) cleaned up the welds and had it powdercoated.

Discovered that the car has a mix between auto and manual engine brackets so having trouble getting it lined up. Fortunately Steve went to MTI for welding and has access to equipment at work.
