My AWS has been deleted and plugged at the rack. My power steering is making a slight "growling" knocking noise. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this? Would it have anything to do with deleting the AWS? I have an extra 1g PS pump that I am going to throw in anyways, but I am just curious if anyone else has experienced this.

^ what he said, usually a sign of low fluid and a leak, but not always...

Usually a sign of low fluid level. Or could also be that the pump is not sealing correctly.
