I searched to see if there were any thread like this but didn't find any. I just wanted to see what brand of oil you guys are using and also what weight.

Amsoil 10W-30. No, I don't buy into their 25K oil hype, but it is a very good oil, and I don't drive my VR-4 enough in a year to merit multiple oil changes (I live in Minnesota, so it's not driven in winter), so I go about 5-6K on it a year and it gets an oil change.

I ended going with Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w-30 and Napa Gold filters. I've heard good things about Shell Rotella T Synthetic 5W-40 though. Since it's summer I'm gonna give that a try for a bit and see how that feels.
