Noise/rattle from gauges?

Tried to search the topic several times and literally found nothing. Maybe I'm not searching correctly?
Anyways I recently acquired a 91 vr4 and noticed an annoying rattle coming from the gauges. I think its the tach input or speedometer input, or whatever that white drive is coming from the metal plate behind the gauges.

Seems like it could be pretty common?

Thanks for any input.

The only moving part is for the speedometer that comes from the transmission. On my DSM, mine makes noise when it's really cold outside. It's more of a clicking noise than a rattle. I'm going to try pulling my gauge cluster out and greasing the inside to see if it goes away. Should be a pretty easy fix.

Yeah I was thinking maybe some thick grease but thought I would see if anyone has some experience with this or maybe a more "permanent" fix.
