No spark or fuel

Im getting no spark and no fuel.... no voltage to the cas, no ecu voltage, i have 2 12v power sources at the mpi relay and the 20a fuse is good..
I used the cas off of my buddys 91 tsi plugged it in and turned the gear clockwise, i got no injector pulse, no spark and no fuel pump... Ive checked all of my fuses inside and out and ive done simple test on everything... Everything checks out good.. Ive used my buddys cas and coilpack and mpi relay still nothing.. any help would be appreciated..

All ECUs will have leaky caps eventually, its basically an inevitability. Terry is the man to go to if so.

I've already swapped a dsm linked ecu and still nothing

Time to break out the DVOM and wiring diagram and check for power and ground starting with the ecu and going from there. If youve swapped a known good ecu, it has to be a power distribution issue, somewhere along the lines. Im betting its a bad ground or a broken power wire somewhere in there, if in fact the items you swapped are in fact good.

give the connection on the back of the MPI relay a wiggle.. try another MPI relay if you have one available

try a known good CAS you dont have to mount it, just hook it up to the connector and spin it with KOEO to test

Maybe your problem is with the antitheft system, be cause if the system is active it won't supply the voltage to spark and fuel

Thats actually not always the case, i've had mine going off due to a friend reaching through my window and unlockong the back door, and the car still started just fine
