And yeah, I'm gonna raise it a hair. Like I said, it settled a little from where I had set it after driving it to the alignment shop. I just hope that doesn't throw off my front toe settings horribly, since I just had the thing aligned.

Question...

What are people using to hold down the brake line in the rear when using coilovers that don't have the little metal tab to bolt them to? I have mine ziptied to the coilover for now, but I'd like to find a more aesthetically pleasing solution.

I'm using the zip-tie method too, but I think I will just have SS lines made that are single piece at each wheel and they will just stay behind the strut. Garfield used to offer them, but I'll just hit up the local hose shop.

Tie wraps? need to get rid of those things!...Yeah, do something else there for sure; many different methods, so do a search online for some ideas.

Hotbits have the stock mount welded onto them to bolt this piece to. For my evo8 swap, I cut off the tabs from the stockers and welded them each to a hose clamp. Then you just hose clamp onto the strut and you have a solid fix.

My Teins have the mount on them as well. I assume the JICs don't have this due to the threaded bodies, but it seems they could have put the mounts on the lower bracket. I thought about using a hose clamp with a tab like you suggest. I might have to figure something like that out. Or have a bracket welded to the lower part of the shock.

Saw iceman post this the other day. www.partsreplacementstore.com

You could probably clamp it to the strut and run one of the bolts through a rubber and steel brake line clamp. Maybe they make ones like this that are lower profile and less bulky /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
