Hi folks I just purchased a 2001 GLS auto estate. It has a couple of issues but worst problem is the abs light is on. Therefore it won’t pass an mot. I tried plugging in my obd reader. (Nothing special) it powered up but no connection. Tried another one and same issue. Probably why the dude sold it. I’m not a mechanic but I’m not completely useless I just don’t know where to start on this one. Do I need a manufacturer specific reader. Can anybody point me in the right direction. Thanks.
