Is the GGSX Downpipe same as 1G DSM?

My GGSX needs the downpipe fixed or replaced. Flex pipe is trashed. I may fix it, but I have seen a few NA 1Gs in the junkyard. If I can just harvest a downpipe from one of them I will. I just don't feel like pulling, and buying one if it doesn't fit. So I'm asking for anyone that knows for sure.
Thanks

Why dont you just go to an exhaust shop and have them hack-off and replace the flexpipe?

The Downpipe is not the same. The ggsx DP has provisioning for the cross member orientation of AWD where the FWD is different. As far as it working with slight fabrication, I wouldn't know.

I have a sawsall and a welder, I can do it myself. A new piece of flexpipe is like $30. I can get a junkyard DP for like 5$. College= NO budget. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif In fact I'm so broke I'm tempted to buy a junkyard DP and chop the flex section out of it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Thanks for the input guys.
