I bought this car new in October of 2005. It has been a great car, very comfortable and reliable. I average 30mpg mixed and 36mpg highway. This car is in excellent condition inside and out, better than many Civics with less mileage. It has typical wear and tear but nothing major. There are a couple tiny dings in the body and one slightly larger dent under the driver’s side door that is hard to see in pictures or in person. The car was just professionally detailed and looks great. It has no outstanding mechanical or electrical issues of any kind.
I am selling the car because we have a six month old baby and it’s not really practical anymore.
The car was involved in a minor low speed accident. The accident was purely cosmetic – no structural damage. The front bumper, driver front fender, and driver headlight were replaced, and the car was repainted from the a-pillars forward (blended into the doors a bit). The body work was done professionally by the best shop in town, and everything from fender fitment to paint looks like new. The factory paint on the front end had actually developed crow’s feet in the clearcoat around 50k miles (this happened on a lot of dark Civics), so the paint work made the car look much better if anything. This was just performed a couple months ago so there are no bug stains in the new paint. I can provide pictures of the damage and more details on request.
Maintenance:
New AC condenser, drier, expansion valve 06/10
New alternator 06/10
New rear brake shoes 05/10
New AC compressor 05/10
New front brake rotors and pads 10/09
New battery 08/09
New Falken tires 05/09 – around 50% tread
$7,500
