I think its time for me to grow up. I can't have projects cars all the time and no DD. I intended for this car to be my DD, but ambition got the better of my judgment.
For anyone who knows, these cars do NOT exist. Period. There are 4 in the country and only one is driving around.
It took a TON of research, measuring, sourcing parts from Japan, Canada, etc.
The chassis features:
-1989 Auto 4-lug ka24e Coupe Se with all the bells and whistles.
HUD, Sunroof, power everything. The car has had some rust repair, but no rust as of now except a quarter sized hole on the D/S inner fender.
128k miles as well.
The swap features:
-4wd Skyline GTS4 Drivetrain. (Rb20det, 4wd trans, GTR front Diff)
-GTR Skyline Front subframe bolted to the 240 frame rails.
-GTR skyline lower control arms w/ excellent balljoints, and tension rods.
-Auto-to-5 speed conversion. (MC, GTR SC, clutch pedal, etc)
-GTR Front Hubs and 4-piston brakes
-Adapters to mate the balljoint GTR upper hub mount, to the 240 struts.
-Primax 10 spoke 17" wheels +38. 85% Tread on all 4. I got some cheap spacers installed for caliper clearance.
The car is a rolling chassis right now. These things will have to be finished.
-Wiring. but that is easy. I might get it done depending on how long it will take to sell this car.
-Clutch/ Brake lines. There are the fronts, the clutch and a rear repair.
-Weld exhaust downpipe to catback.
-Finish clutch pedal installation. Again, I will probably have this done in the meantime.
-GTR VSS. GTRcanada will have some kicking around i'm sure.
-Driveshaft. I have one at a shop ready to go with brand new yokes. $360
