1979 Datsun/Nissan 280zx 2+2
Fuel injected 2.8L inline Six
5 speed Manual
Rear wheel drive
132xxx miles
Clear Illinois Title in hand
THE GOOD:
Front tires
Fuel Pump
Bushings through out suspension
Tokico shocks all around
Radiator and hoses
Hydraulic clutch actuator on transmission.
Spark plugs wires and distributor cap
This Z starts right up. No leaks. It does NOT burn oil. It is naturally aspirated i.e. a non-turbo Z. Solid roof with Luvvers on the rear wind screen.
THE BAD:
The Body needs work. Small amounts of rust showing up on the doors and rocker panels. The passenger side rear quarter panel needs to be patched or replaced. Rear wheel bearing is going out. The shift forks in the transmission are tweaked to the point that 5th gear and reverse are not obtainable.
There are a number of spare parts that could go with the Z or be sold individually.
including but not limited to: Engine, 5 speed transmission, drive shaft, rear end, suspension and sub-frame.
