evo 2 or 3 Manifolds

Hi guys..

Please excuse my lack of knowledge on these cars, but ive been offered an evo 2 manifold for a great price...

Is it worthwhile?

Ive found someone local breaking an evo 2 and im trying to find out what parts are useful... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Intake manifolds or exhaust manifolds?

The exhaust manifolds are usable on a vr4.
They suit the larger 070 exhaust housing and are also made of better materials and are less prone to cracking.

The intake manifolds are not compatible as the evo's have smaller ports in the head. They will bolt on (same bolt pattern) but will not be benificial unless you plan on running the evo head.

If they are wrecking the evo, it would be worthwhile to get the drivetrain parts.

The Evo2 are the same as the galant vr4, Evo 3s are the bigger ones, If im wrong feel free to correct me guys..

The Evo 2 manifold is actually similar to the VR-4 RS - basically the same as the stock galant VR-4 but with a 7cm 16G turbo inlet instead of the 6cm 14B inlet.
