engine cranks, doesn't start

hey guys, been at this for a while in my spare time, and getting a little discouraged

I intstalled a complete longblock into my '92 VR4 and upgraded to ECMlink V3 while the swap was being done - reused the ECU from the old engine (worked the last time it was running). Engine cranks, but will not start (seems like no spark) - the MPI relay starts spazzing out while key is in "on" position prior to cranking (relay checked out fine upon inspection)... please just tell me if you think you know what may be up, heh

Has your ecu been capped? Pull the cover and check for acid damage.

It looks as if it has been capped previously, but not 100% sure. Anyone know of a good person to send it to for a revamp?

 

Keydiver (Jeff) is were I sent mine to. Do a members search under keydiver. Or go to DSMchips.com. I think Terry posten also does ecu work. He's a member here also.

Sounds like a bad ecu or you have the chip installed backwards

Solved. It was a bad connection to the CAS all along.

Now i just need a new knock sensor and have the idle fixed somehow
