DIY SS Exhaust ???

I was considering fabbing/welding an exhaust if a deal for an existing system does not happen.
Can I use 18g or must I use 16g stainless. It is not for a DD.

I think you can use 18g, But personally I would use 16g. I had a cat back pretty much sitting around from 417/1000 which is SS, had a Megan downpipe and a thermal muffler already and pretty much finished it, put some v bands on it and I'm happy.. my car had a mild steel setup that was looking fugly, ill post pics later.
