Does anyone know what material it is? Since it is for hot oil environment, my guess is Viton but I want to make sure before I use it.
 

Screw it I cleaned off my old one, rtved her in the block and bolted it down.

I don't think it's the heat you're worried about, it's the fact that theres petroleum products that it's soaking in. Personally I think I'd throw whatever o-ring in that I could find at the hardware store.

Yeah, I meant to order the oe one with my big parts order I just got. Local dealer doesn't have it and I don't wan to pay shipping on a 90 cent o-ring. I've got the right size in my stash at work, both buna and viton. Since it's for oil service, I guess it won't hurt to use the viton.
