cruise control delete with n/t throttle cable

I can seem to find out if a automatic 94 non turbo eclipse throttle cable will work. Will it work for non cruise control conversion? thanks in advance.

I've used the throttle cable from a 1.8L DSM to delete the cruise control cable from my GVR4 in the past. I'm sure that the cable you're talking about using would be similar.

If you already have the non cruise cable in hand, I'd go ahead and run it from the throttle body to the firewall. If it fits in the engine bay to the firewall, then it should be long enough to go to the gas pedal.
