Ok, I have a quick question. Can I have my non eprom board socketted? If so, where can I get the socket from? And caps too.

Well I have a computer engineer local that can do it for me on the cheap. Is there anywhere I can source one?

If your ECU is a NON_EPROM board, you will not be able to have just any shop do it. Have the guys at ECMlink do it for you. If your ECU is an EPROM board, any electronic tech with good desolding tools can remove the old chip and install a socket. They should also be able to provide you with the correct socket.
