Black top CAS

Hi i recently acquired a black top CAS. Im wondering if there is any special wiring or things i need to know about installing this on my 91 GVR4 i installed it early today and when trying to set my ignition timing it will not let me advance it far enough. I have clocked it all the way clock wise and it only goes as far to the T on my timing cover.

No special wiring is required. If its that far off, your mechanical timing might be off.

 

Nope thats fine i can put my green top on and it works properly
