Be sure to put the new one on just as you took the old one off (spline wise) or else the steering wheel will be crooked while your driving straight.

You can work it off by hand without a puller, but leave the nut on partially or get ready for a trip to the emergency room.

Nah, never contacted my face myself with this operation, but have heard of others who did. I used to take the bus-sized steering wheel off my Volvo when going to the drive in movie theater, for more room. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
