I was thinking the other day about how my friend has a Civic half radiator and was looking and looked like it would fit right into the Galant. I was wondering if an All Aluminum civic half radiator would work? or would it not cool enough?

So you've got the chance of taking it out then. I plan on picking up an Afco unit made for a scirocco.

I've taken the measurments and found out it fits pretttyyyy nicely /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

many have used the alum civic half radiators with success. As long as you arent road racing, or heavy footed in heavy trafic you should be just fine

Check out the boombop shop on ebay. They have an all aluminum bar and plate design civic half radiator for $150 shipped. It's 2.75" thick.

You sure it wasn't tube/fin? I've never seen a bar and plate (coolant) radiator.
