A/C valve part, what is it?

Does anybody know what this part is? A/C compressor relief valve maybe? It's stuck open on my compressor and leaked all of my freon out all of a sudden. I'm wondering if I just need to buy a generic A/C valve possibly meant for another car because the part numbers don't turn up with anything.




The part numbers are 1611 and AKA2270204.

Yeah, that is the pressure relief valve I think.

Second post in a week about this part. Makes me wonder if they have a life expectancy or just coincidence.

Maybe hit the bone yard for another Mitsu in the same era and hope for the best.
