I'm re installing the A/C system in my car and I need help. I'm ready to bolt in my A/C fan and I don't have anything to fasten the upper mount bolt too. Is there suppose to be a weld nut spot welded to the radiator upper support somewhere? If not what holds the 12mm bolt in place?

I have the small bracket that bolts to the top of the A/C fan itside

There is not way, there is nothing for a bolt to thread into, either that or my bracket is missing a weld nut. The upper bracket has a slit like the bottoms mounts for a rubber grommet

I think the bracket on the fan should have a rubber mount with nut in the center. Your bolt threads into that. It's been a little while since I have had the A/C fan off and it's at my shop or I would go look at it for you!

That! The core support should have a hole, and no nut. The bolt threads into the nut in the rubber......
