4WS to DSM 1g 3 bolt or 4 bolt

In order to do the swap, would I need to swap over an DSM tranny from the same car as well. From what I gathered on here is there are guys just swapping out there 4WS with a 4 bolt. But wouldnt that be the incorrect way to go about it since the final drives are different?

If you get a rear end from a 5 speed car, your all set.

Auto rear ends are different ratio that 5 speeds.

So you must get a 5 speed rear and all you need to do is swap the rear diff, axles, and cups or just swap the whole subframe.

I may be wrong, But I think all the DSM's have the 4 bolt rears. It's only the Galant that has the 3 bolt, But like I said, I could be wrong
