Wow it came out great! Even better then you described.... Is that a -16an feed line to the fuel filter?

Man this car has come far from when I first met you at the track... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/applause.gif

Cory- yeh we met about 2 years ago when I first bought 431 - we did a little work since then /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif

The fuel lines are -12.

Truly amazing work guys...

There should be a GVR4 hall of fame for cars/owners/builders like yourself! Not an easy feat to do what you have done... Well done!

Nice pics,I love that car. What a sleeper. Other than the chute,If you told 9 out 10 people that car ran 11s, much less making license passes to run low 9s high 8s,they would think you were full of sh*t.

Actually it's fun to watch people walk by the car and laugh at the chute... Then the car goes down the track and they come over saying "now we know why it's got the chute" followed by "is that a camry" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Btw:The chute detaches from behind the bumper - leaving a small hole which I have a plug for so virtually undetectable once removed

Nelson (and Nate),

The car looks fantastic. Nate gave me a bit of a hard time before when I said it would be a shame to pull anything more off the car just to get more performance. In fact I think he pretty much said that it would be sacrilege not to allow the car to reach it's full potential. All I can say is what an incredible job you have both done. It is one thing to build a car that is capable of that type of performance but to achieve it with a vehicle that still looks that stunning is quite frankly inspiring. That is almost exactly the balance I am looking to achieve in my car one day, with the exception that I don't intend to go anywhere near fast enough to need a chute.

Where did you get the lens covers for the headlights? They may not be entirely practical for a street car but those and the wheels really make the car. Thanks again for going the extra distance and sending me those cams by the way.

The car truly is beautiful!

Hasn't Gizmo earned some kind of cool user name by now? Member doesn't seem sufficient with a car like this.

Paul- I’m glad the cams got to you with no issues - hopefully they work out great for you.

The headlight covers were bought used from a member on here – however you can still get them new via a simple google search .

Whenever possible I like to buy used parts for my cars – it not only saves me money but helps other in the process.

About the rear mats - couldn't sell them with 431/1000 on them so might as well use them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> they are removable <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

In for carnage pics! Sorry to hear man. Although I'm sure she'll be up and running better than before soon enough.
