I tried using LED bulbs, 4 LEDs on the sides and 2 LEDs on the middle part. they were ok, I used the white ones, but the glow still looks green to me.

I bought some LED strips w/c they cost about plus-minus $5, i'll remove the unnecessary bulbs, tap and solder 'em. I'll try to post pics when it's done.
