I've got two 12" fans behind my 2 core alloy radiator using a Turbonetics manifold. Mine has also had the T3 and head flanges angle milled to bring the turbo further out. (Compressor cover fouling on block). You'd have even greater clearance with a non-modified Turbonetics manifold.

Thanks guys.Cheeky - the evo's also use an integral drum setup but I'm not sure if the drum is the same diameter. I've already purchased E9 brakes and I've got a fabricator looking into what is required to fit these on a VR4 rear. Hopefully I can return some useful info.

I didn't realise that 3KGT hubs bolted on front and rear on the Galant. I wish I didn't just spend $1300 on E9 brakes and now having a machinist try to work out how to retrofit an Evo rear brake drum setup.I should read more...
