    Well, Ive got a bit further...You have to cut the CAS slot onto the Intake Cam as the exhaust does teh Timing on an EVO8 and the cams are approximately 180deg out..unless the cams are asymetrical and the intake can do the exhaust!

    Yup, 3.9 and no top end.... 190 on dirt is plenty fun ( Ever tried to haul a VR4 BACK from 190...NOT FUN!!!)The Issue with gearbox life is it does up to 150KM per event at 14PSI, the weak link is supposedly 3rd gear as it puts power to the transfer case, Hence it is highly loaded.

    The Butterfly valves are controlled by the same wire that does the Emissions control on a US car ( The pinouts Ive found are all US....)And make sure you wire up one of the switchable outputs to the main relay ( That one hanging off the base of the glovebox!)

    I would say its from the Dyno run, Ive seen Rotary cluches that have twisted, Belled and Elongated the holes so the centre comes loose.Once the Rivet holes have torn up, Its just a matter of time. The Dyno has no friends.
