  1. FS: AZ 1998 Subaru Legacy GT "restored" with WRX swap $15,000 FIRM

Yes and no... The cruise system is in place and "should" be functional, but I think the switch in the dash is bad. The steering wheel controls have been wired and should work based on the wiring diagram, but the indicator light on the main cruise power switch (the one on the dash) doesn't work...

  10. FS: AZ 1998 Subaru Legacy GT "restored" with WRX swap $15,000 FIRM

This car was originally purchased as a driver with a bad head gasket on the factory 2.5 NA engine. It was completely gutted and stripped down for a thorough restoration and drivetrain upgrade. A wrecked 2002 WRX was acquired as a donor car for the complete engine/drivetrain conversion. The end...
  11. Aluminum o2 housing.

Whatever dude, you obviously aren't the type to listen to good advise, or even accept technical information. You think you can justify what you built because you've seen pictures of something, or because you saw it on some drag car that only has to run for 10 secs at a time. I don't know why I...
  12. Aluminum o2 housing.

Quoting TrendSetter: im curious what the potential problem is that needs to be researched. How about you start with basic metallurgy... I mean, where did you get the idea that it would be a good idea to use aluminum in a high-heat, high vibration application? Let me guess, you saw some...

  28. FS:78' Porsche 911SC with Subaru conversion $9K Gilbert AZ

That's not rust. It's the spray in glue that they used back in the day to glue in the sound pad in the engine bay, and the insulation on the firewall. Porsche started galvanizing their 911 chassis in 1977. This particular car was originally from California, and then ended up in AZ. There is...

  32. Roll cage

you don't need a cage for autocross, and actually, the extra weight will slow you down. And who autocrosses a drag car? That would be like telling a marathon runner to go run a 100 meter race. Mabe U shud rethink yur plans before U start throwin' sum parts at the car.
