@fuel: Thank you, my car is a GTI Dynamic 4... I checked at ASA - the VR-4 and the Dynamic 4 use to 99.9% the same parts. My problem is all can get are remanufactured calipers - but I've had bad experience with that. Colt GTi from 88-92 have the integrated parking brake, too, but they won't...

I've to replace my rear calipers. Both sides the parking mechanism is rusted to crap. Original Mitsu calipers are here not available, and I want to avoid buying remanufactured calipers from Cardone. Does anybody knows what calipers from other Mitsu models - exept Eclipse - could fit? Don't need...

Update: After heating it with an electric heatgun, the puller at its maximum, at medium temperature for half an hour it suddenly decided to move with a big bang... Thx to all for your advices!

@gaylantvr4: we tried to heat it, bit it's out of brass and not out of steel. We fear that it will start to melt...

@Nebraska: deleting the ABS is not an option. To keep it strrelwgal, the ABS must be functional. I would kill the gear if a new was available - but these are discontinued...

My outer wheel bearings are crap - bought all the stuff to overhaul the rear driveshaft and have to face a new problem... The brass ABS rotor is stucked at the shaft, it doesn't move anyway. Can't use my hydraulic press because the wheel hub is too big.... Any suggestions?

Hello at all! I've a problem with the ES 5.3113 kit... This should fit a 1990 - 1994 DSM Eclipse AWD. I've checked at ASA the part numbers - the rear suspension-/trailing arms and the bushings are at the Eclipse AWD, the Galant VR-4 and my Dynamic 4 the same. Today I wanted to do my rear...

Anybody have experience with these?clickDo thes fit at the Galant?

Hello @ all... I'm thinking about making a VR-4 out of my Dynamic4... I saw many of yours are aprting out some cars - is there a real chance to get all parts together? After studying ASA I noticed the only differences between both modells are - - airfilter - headers and turbo - oilpan - ECU...

Here all Mitsus since 1984 have the same oil-cap... We call it a "710"...

A lot of you haven't access to ASA... Especially if you want to cross-check if parts from an US-version are similiar to EU or JDM versions. Mitsubishi Motors in Kiew offers a free using of ASA. Don't be afraid of the kyrillian letters - it's very simple: At the starting page you see a "Rising...

This is a very rare part... It was only used in the 1800 EFI. The model code was E35, and I don't where it was sold - but not in Europe. You may try it at Amayama in Japan, that still have a lot of NOS parts in stock... At At MM EU it isn't even listed...

@ misterfixit: I think I will try with universal boots - I prefer originality, but sometimes it's too hard to get parts...@ carguy : Our federal inspector would kill me if I would do this. My car would be declared as "unsafe" immediately. Our laws are very strict...

I tried to get some rear outer CV-boots. At the dealership it's discontinued, and at companies like RockAuto etc. there are no aftermarket-parts available. Does anybody has a source, where to get? At Ebay somebody offers the "last NOS" for tons of bucks... Any sugestions? I thought about SKF...

Thank you, Tom... I have the right tools in my garage. I found two different types of ball joints - some have a fluted base, some are smooth. What would you prefer?

I've to replace all ball joints at all 6 arms - the front ones and the two in the rear... Mitsubishi offers only the complete arms - but mine are, except the ball joints, in a good condition. My plan was to replace the bushings to some of energysuspension, that I've done some times at my Galant...

I'm at the CSM forums as well, normal Galant forum and at someforums in other countries... Iowned since 1988 about 60 different Mitsus....

The VIN would give the information... If it is like JMBE39A... it's a EU/JDM version.... US models have a complete different VIN....

I checked the rings. They where very rusty, so I brushed and cleaned them. No cracks, only minor really small spots of detoriation. Cleaned and adjusted the sensors, too. First two or three miles the ABS light was on, after a new start it vanished. ABS tested on gravel road, up to 80 mph full...

The rims are a separate story... You can't see it, but they are in a bad shape. The coating is mostly vanished, and I thought about replacing them... I spoke with a friend who is very familiar with the JDM-scene here and he did some research... Producer is a company named "Vesta". Nobody here...
