    My car is basically stock. Slight mods but no serious power. I am guessing 250- 275 hp. No dyne close to check it. But I am going to need a clutch somewhat soon so I was thinking about this.JnZ TuningNot sure how much a ceramic clutch would chew up the flywheel.

    How does the head look? If it is only that area on the cam maybe there is something not allowing enough oil to that journal?Good luck.Either way, you need to figure out what caused it before you fix the cam and put it back in.

    I concur.It looks like one side of the cam has a valley worn into it and the opposite side does not. I would think that would indicate a warped cam or warped head.More inspection before you regrind that cam and install it.

    I took the reading off the cam lobe it's self, not the roller. The shims shouldn't affect the measurement in that case.

    I will look into it.The 4 degree measurement was taken several times when I had the degree wheel on and was checking for TDC of the cam in relation to the crank. I re-checked it several time.
