Looking for a Galant VR4 engine harness. If it makes a difference, it's going in my '91. It absolutely does not have to be in pristine condition by any means.
Ok, What all do you need to start this? Tow hooks? Would you ship this or even make one for me? Absolutely no rush.
I am so excited!!!! I have been wanting to pull my 3 rail dirt bike trailer with my Galant!!!
Wow! So much to respond to!! needless to say, I will not be looking any further into this radiator. My daily driver Galant is still very stock with a small 16g with no plans to upgrade from the stock frame turbo. I also still have A/C.
I know that I have crap coated on the inside of my cooling...
Not likely the cause, but replace the fuel filter. For most drivability issues on any diesel engine, it's a good idea too start with a new fuel filter.
good point. It's been so long since I've used ECM link I forgot about that. I have it in one of my Galants, but not the stock one this thread is referring to. It will eventually have it. I just need to get this overheating problem fixed this winter.
I'll do some more digging.
So the factory fan will not bolt in? I'm going with no because of your second mention of the subject.
I don't mind the drilling and tapping.
This may have already come up, but I haven't found anything about it here.
Has any one tried one of these radiators?:
clickI realize this one is located in China:
clickI'm wondering if they are made for the eclipse and not galant due to there being a spot for 2 cooling fans on the...
I might be interested as that is the only thing preventing me from starting/driving mine. It's been sitting in my shop for 3-4 years! I got pretty far into building my own harness, but it became too time consuming for the amount of free time I have. Got into racing dirt bikes.
Bought some knuckles with 4 lug hub from him. They look great! No problems here!
Thread title is maybe supposed to read "OneMoreVR4" instead of "OnoMoreVR4"
If I could weld better,(and had the time) I'd attempt to make my own.And that is also great to know the front lowers will work in the rear. Makes me more at ease about buying used control arms.
Yeah, I could call Mitsubishi.I should have said, something that I have time to work on. Especially this time of year when its dark by the time I get off.
I have been searching for a few hours now, and there are rear upper control arms everywhere, but no lower. Are the rear lower control arms on the VR4 the same as other models?
I'm also not able to find any front knuckles either.
Both on passenger side. The front steering knuckle and rear lower control arm.
Going on a 92 VR4.
Depending on shipping costs, I might take both front.
PM here, text me 806-441-3243(I say text because I leave my phone at my tool box and don't always hear it ring), or email. [email protected]...
I busted mine going through a big pot hole in the dirt. I need both Galant VR4 fog lights.
Best way to get ahold of me is text. I work in a shop and don't always hear my phone.
Thanks, Ben Moss 806-441-3243
The one that goes to the headlights, marker lights, oil pressure sender, fans, etc.
Thanks,
Ben Moss [email protected] or 806-441-3243 call or text. text would be better becuase I don't hear my phone during the day.
My chrome has about peeled off of my drivers interior door handle.
I also need that trim piece that runs from the top of the "A" pillar to the top of the "C" pillar in grey. I broke mine in half pulling it off to get to my seat belt track.
Best was to contact me it phone/text. My name is Ben...
I am in need of a 344 mount and a Galant specific shifter assembly. The whole shebang that bolts to the floor. Preferably not one that is loose.
I have plenty of T/E/L shifters 90 and 91+. I need the Galant shifter. I just assumed it was the same as the 91+, but I have a 92 vr4 that was a one...
yup, need a pass rear electric window regulator.
I am also looking for the screw cover on the interior door pull for the drivers front door. I'm assuming they are th same for all 4 doors. I can provide a picture if needed. Thanks,
Ben Moss 806-441-3243 or [email protected]
I obviously have never actually looked at that front fan. haha, it doesn't even mount to the radiator. sorry guys. When I bought that Pikes peak car, he included a PWR radiator. I don't know exactly what it is made for. I'm going to try and put it in my new Galant.
