My stock 4 lug driver rear wheel bearing is starting to show signs of needing replacing. That’s my reason to start looking for a parts car 1g to do a 5 lug swap. Any chance someone in California has leads or parts you’re willing to sell. Also out of California I’d be willing to pay shipping.

Makes sense to start looking for a 1G parts car if you’re already dealing with a rear wheel hub bearing that’s on its way out. A complete donor could give you everything you need for the 5-lug conversion and save you from hunting down individual pieces. I’d especially try to find a complete rear setup with the hubs, knuckles, bearings, and associated hardware still together, since that makes the swap much easier and gives you a chance to inspect the Precision spindle bearings before installing everything.

You can repair them. At Rockauto you can find seals and bearings to do the job. There's a video from Jafromobile that shows a bit of the process. It takes time and some specific tools.

I get that. A part of me wants the better wheel options and brake upgrade benefits of the five lug.
I am curious though. Do you have part #’s for everything needed for the repair?
