Ask yourself are you a driver or do you want to be driven. The cars 4ws is not that progressive in engaging/disengaging that you can't feel it. If it were I'd be all for it. As it is no thank you. Thankfully mine ceased functioning a decade ago.

I remember seeing this problem in a post in 2007 headed "Axles and Diffs" (I couldn't find it using a direct search). It seams like your dr side axle my be a JDM dr side rear lsd axle. Find post and you'll see what I mean. Good pics and an easy test by measuring the stub axle lenght.

One of the coils in the isc is open. Test for same and/or replace isc with known good isc. Ben there done that.

More PB Blaster(daily) and time. Forget the torch for now. If you do use a torch eventually make sure you have a very good heat shield behind the lines protecting the body. Take your time installing the new lines to reduce twisting(stress) to a minimum. Been there done that.

Which hp line are you refering to. Please describe local or include a pic or 2. I replaced the hard line from Dr L to center of the steering rack as seen from under the car w/o removing rack.
